The graduation ceremony is the official event at which qualifications are formally conferred. If a graduate is unable to attend, their qualification will be awarded in absentia—meaning it remains officially recognised and recorded, even though the graduate was not present.

All graduates, including those graduating in absentia, must complete the online booking form by 26 June 2026.

Graduates who opt to graduate in absentia must indicate how they wish to receive their certificate and academic transcript:

1. Collect from BMT College – Documents will be available for collection one month after the ceremony. Graduates must provide at least one working day’s notice and collect during normal office hours.
2. Courier by BMT College – Documents will be couriered within South Africa at a fee of R585, once payment is received.
3. Arrange Own Courier – Graduates may organise their own courier service at their own risk, once notified that the documents are ready.

If a third party collects on behalf of a graduate, a signed letter of authorisation, a waiver form, and certified copies of both parties’ IDs are required.
